Can the benefits of the digital revolution be leveraged without the expense of our data privacy?
Ann Cavoukian, former three-term information and privacy commissioner of Ontario, and executive director of the Global Privacy and Security by Design Centre, says “Yes!”.
Canadians “can be proud,” she says, that the first program in the world to be certified in ISO 31700-1 (built with Privacy by Design principles embedded into every layer) is TELUS’s Data for Good program.
“It serves as a global example for business, industry and government on how to ensure that data is respected at every stage of innovation.”
