Israel gives Chinese migrant workers the pay — and dignity — they don’t get at home

In a striking defiance of Beijing’s evacuation orders amid escalating conflict, thousands of Chinese migrant workers in Israel are choosing to stay, drawn by better pay and working conditions that starkly contrast with the harsh realities back home, revealing a troubling truth for the CCP: their citizens prefer the dignity and safety found in Israel over the oppressive environment of China.

“I’d rather be bombed to death than starve to death,” one worker told reporters.
